The development projects supported by CSA cover a wide range of areas and issues. The objectives of CSA are:

• Empowerment, socio-economic entitlement, and uplift of the inhabitants with emphasis on disadvantaged women, youth, children, disabled and ethnic groups of Sunamganj district and other districts as well.
• Increasing social awareness about human rights.
• Stop violence against women and children.
• Optimum and sustainable health services, specially maternal and child health, nutrition and sanitation.
• Fight against Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).

• Provide health facilities to the drug addicted groups.
• Population reduction.
• Increase literacy rate in the target area.
• Special initiatives for deprived and destitute.
• Human development and capacity building geared to self-help and entrepreneurship especially among the youth.
• Financial support for small entrepreneurs.
• Habitable and sustainable ecology and environment.
• Good governance, accountability and transparency, especially in local levels.
