Education is the prerequisite of development for any country. CSA gives its utmost importance on elementary education
that is earliest program of education for children, beginning generally at the age of five or six and lasting from six to
eight years.
Elementary education is compulsory for all children in most countries. The purpose of the elementary school is to
introduce children to the skills, information, and attitudes necessary for proper adjustment to their community and to
society. Basically, the subjects taught are reading, writing, spelling, mathematics, social studies, science, art, music,
physical education, and handicrafts. In the larger communities special classes or schools are usually provided for children
who are physically or mentally handicapped.
In recent days, the commitment to education is stronger than ever before. There is global recognition that education is
a key to human development, poverty reduction and the promotion of peace. Yet millions of children are denied their right to
quality education. CSA is working to uplift towards ensuring that all children realize their right to education, and that
every learner has the opportunity to develop to his or her full potential.
Girls' education is the top priority in CSA’s programs. We want to ensure quality education for all children.
